Who We Are
MOS is comprised of current Law Enforcement Officers who specialize in Maritime Operations. We are honored to serve alongside multiple agencies and jurisdictions to help keep the marine community safe. Our desire is to continue that work and partner with you for your training needs.
With over 20 years of Law Enforcement and over 10 on a full time Marine Patrol/Dive Team we have been a part of many trainings. When it comes to classes our staff has seen the good, the bad and the ugly. We want to provide you with a safe, positive and challenging training environment. We want to give you the skills and confidence to enjoy each and every underwater adventure!

I began my aquatic career as a lifeguard at a local YMCA. I got hooked on scuba through my uncle who was a Police Diver and I was certified during college. Fast forward over ten years and I have the honor of diving with an amazing team of Public Safety Divers. Safety has been a major focus from life guarding now to Public Safety Diving. My joy comes from seeing new divers experience the beauty of the underwater world in a safe and personal way.
Certifications Include: SDI Open Water Instructor, ERDI Inst., Full Face Mask Inst. Dry Suit Inst., Underwater Navigation Inst., Limited Visability/Night Diving Inst., ERDI confined Space ops, Aqualung Tech, Apex Tech, OTS Guardian Tech. Tank Visual Inspector.
Tony Barrera
Owner
Tony began his love for the water serving in the United States Navy. Tony’s passion for service continued through multiple positions in a local Police Department. Coming back to the water he has continued to gain specialties for on the dive team. He is very technically savvy and is eager to assist as you learn to dive.
Certifications Include: SDI Divemaster, SDI Open Water, SDI Advanced Adventure, SDI Rescue Diver, ERDI Tech, ERDI Drysuit Ops, ERDI Full Face Ops SUAS Pilot, SDI Visual Inspector, USCG Captain’s License Credential 50 Ton.
